Energize your body; Transform your spirit.

Swagatam!  This means Welcome in Sanskrit, the language commonly used in yoga.  If you’re looking for a professional massage therapist, who also happens to be a certified yoga instructor, you’ve come to the right place.

Prana is the essential vital energy of our body systems, the breath of life.  It can not be seen, it can only be felt.  When that energy is not circulating well throughout the physical body and subtle body systems, it causes effects which can manifest physically, mentally, and/or emotionally.  Examples of prana imbalances are fatigue, depression, digestive issues, recurring illnesses or infections, stress, anxiety, general aches and pains, headaches/migraines, and reacting very emotionally to anything we perceive as negative.  During our massage session, I utilize deep breath methods of my own obtained from yogic practices to aid the effectiveness of energy flow as I work.  Many clients are used to talking to their therapist during massage, but the best way to benefit completely from the therapy is to rest, relax, and reset.  Finding a quiet space for self to calm the thought waves helps the physical self.  The body has natural abilities to heal itself by combining energy + (sub)consciousness.  Only with awareness to what is going on with ourselves, and then the actions taken to resolve those imbalances, will we begin to notice a more flowing state of prana.

I currently work at Compassionate Hart Massage Therapy.  Please check their website to schedule massage with me.
